What
is Tech-Prep? Tech Prep is a bridge between high school and a high-tech
college education! The backbone for job success in the 21st century
is technology. By taking college-level courses while on the high school campus,
students get a headstart on career skills and college hours. Starting in the
9th grade with Tech-Prep classes and continuing their education at the community/technical
college, students can obtain at least an associate of science degree in record
time. Tech-Prep classes benefit the student, education systems -- high schools
and community/technical colleges -- and the work force. Student/Parent
Benefits: - Tech-Prep students take advanced-level classes that count
as college hours.
- Tuition and books are NOT charged for these
college hours.
- At college, students do NOT duplicate classes
successfully completed in high school.
- Students have a headstart
on college hours for an associate of science degree.
